mich has left singapore for brisbane. her flight was on 30
th June '06 @ 12.05am, so we were there with her on 29
th June '06 till 11.30pm. We had sakae sushi for dinner and then ice cream at swenson's. Meeting up with manda and hsunting had been so fun and there wasnt any feeling of awkwardness even though we have not been seeing one another for a few months. We quickly warmed up to manda's antics and i feel that she can be an excellent stand-up comedian in the future lol. It was CB gang - jn + hongying that day, what a cute combi eh.
Then came the moment she hadda enter the departure gates. She hugged everyone of us there- her primary school friends, junior college hockey mates & pw mates and then finally us, her secondary school buddies. Her body felt so warm against mine as we hugged for one last time before going to see each other again in late november.
I didnt cry, because i know she'll be back in the blink of an eye.
And finally, last day of work at Happy Kids Discovery yesterday!!! My boss, Mr Lim, even added $1oo to each of our(ms, bena and me) salary as a reward cuz he and Mrs Lim felt that we've been "good girls". Hahahaha. What a cute way to describe our work performance.
Im definitely going to miss Mdm Neo, the senior teacher-in-charge there. She's been wonderfully nice to all of us(sorry i know ive said that already)! Not going to miss all the kids there but i will miss some though. Cute ones like ziying, jolene, joanna, xinying, yida. Those funny p6s like siyian, charrell, michelle. And some random ones like dominic, benedict, huizhong, jinding, cheryl, huiqi, jordan, winnie, keechow, angie, yiyun, lexuan blahblahblah. Also those super cute Happy Kids! Ahh and that aunty who does all the cleaning and washing up. She was asking me what course im taking in uni then i said not confirmed yet. So she was telling me i could go for some radio deejay courses cuz my voice is nice. HAHAHA. Minshan
immediately protested that it's actually hers which, both bena and me dont deny. Ahem Miss Wong, please dont get so over the moon we're not praising you.
Speaking of university entry, I dont wanna go NUS Science! I know ive been lamenting ever since i got rejected by pharmacy haha but still, i cant imagine me doing scientific research or teaching science or whatever. So, ive appealed to NTU business and the interview went well on thursday. I shouldve chosen my NTU courses carefully and i deserve all this shit of going through interview for my appeal in the end :(
Well if i do get it, ill say bye-bye to science in my life! Double yay!!
